Derwent Inktense Pencils are Derwents best water-soluble pencil. You can use them dry but mix them with water and the colour turns into vibrant ink like images. Once dry, the colour is fixed and because it is permanent it is great for using on fabric such as silk and cotton.
The smooth dry colour is easy to apply and produces a vibrant finish for strong coloured drawings. When water is applied the colour dissolves to create an intense ink effect of vibrant colour that adds expressive combinations of colour wash and graphic marks to your artwork.
